This site is early, and this page will evolve as the tools evolve.

The guiding principle is simple: collect the minimum data required to operate the site.

If something isn’t necessary, we’d rather not have it.

Visit logging

For a small set of public marketing pages, Simpleflo records basic visit events server-side so site traffic is easier to understand and troubleshoot.

Those events include:

• the page that was viewed,
• the date and time of the visit,
• the visitor IP address,
• the browser user agent and parsed browser name/version,
• the referring page, when available.

Location enrichment

Simpleflo does not ask your browser for precise location access.

Instead, it may infer approximate location information such as city, region, and country from the visitor IP address using a third-party reverse IP lookup service.

Retention

Raw visit events, including IP address, are retained for up to 180 days for observability and traffic analysis.
